We actively work along two parallel lines
of IT development. First is directly with our client business, developing
custom data and information solutions for their business or organisational
needs.
The other is research
and development projects that we develop in-house to address specific business
needs that we believe are either lacking in the market or are not tailored to
New Zealand's operational environment or finding new and innovative applications
for technologies that can further enhance the automation of business process.
When working with
clients we operate from a strategic viewpoint, using a four step process:
Discovery: Through consultation a thorough analysis of
your business needs, processes and data requirements is conducted including
current technology deployment and future growth strategies of your business.
Diagnosis: With this information a complete analysis of
your current technology infrastructure is conducted. Your companies’ communication,
data requirements, business model and a number of other key strategic factors
are overlaid on the discovery analysis to determine gaps, duplication of data
or repetitive input of data from one system to another.
Design & Test: Armed with this diagnostic information we
determine the best mix of visual design and information visualisation to
support the data processing engine of your application (software) based on the
current and future growth needs of your business.
This phase includes
continued testing and analysis to ensure a solution that is easy to use without
compromising power, performance or security. A test
panel including client business users is an important part of this process to
insure we remain true to the intended purpose of the application and deliver
data visualisation and input parameters in a user friendly format. Deployment:The final step is deploying the application to the client’s server using a
phased approach. First the application is deployed to a test server were load
testing and analysis is completed to make absolutely sure no unforeseen
compatibility or load issues exist. Client data is then migrated into the
application for live testing by the client test panel. Once the application has
been put through it’s paces and thoroughly tested it is deployed to the clients
main server ready for launch and business wide deployment. While this process
is under way staff training is completed in the use of the application by the
clients own resident experts. |
